Melanie Denhart
Melanie is the visionary and industry experienced manager of The Global Glass. Melanie holds a B.S. in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Wisconsin Stout. She also is a Certified Wine Educator (CWE) recognized by the Society of Wine Educators. She has over five years of experience in managing two successful liquor stores and ten years in wholesale wine sales. As General Manager of a state wine wholesaler, she traveled throughout the state (and world) and has a keen sense of retail sales and how to reach consumers. Fifteen years in the restaurant/hotel business in Walworth County rounds out her experience with management, beverage sales, and customer contact. As a bartender, she has delighted in connecting with customers to optimize their home entertainment experiences. Born and raised in East Troy, owning a business on the Village square has been a life long dream.
Richard Denhart
Richard Denhart is assistant manager and avid spirit and wine enthusiast. Richard is a retired president of two regional private technical colleges and former music industry professional. Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Charter Oak College in Connecticut and a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin Stout. He is employed part-time reviewing student projects for Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) as well as helping out at the store.
